Practice

Set up the tent/booth yesterday as a run-thru. It was good to figure out the details of how it's all going to fit together. Thanks to my wonderful friend and neighbor, Jessica for helping me hack thru the trellis. Of course, now I realize where things are lacking - and how much work I really still have to get this all together. So, today will be a short post. I must finish making wine bags!

  3. The Cub Scouts found me because the pack leader is my neighbor and friend and fellow art lover. Not sure there are any moose here for them to catch, but they sure could get a bear or a gator or a turkey in Wekiva Forrest! I bet you don't look like a jewish boy anymore. You should have made your own tent lid out of fun fabric, maybe you can make a cover? it would help you stand out. You are going to do fantastic! I have a friend who is doing what you do, she is in a retail space on Ivanhoe called "Heather Handmade" http://heatherhandmade.blogspot.com/

  4. Thought about the tent cove, but ran out of time. Really, had so many ideas that I literally couldn't sew fast enough. Remember that goofy song from the seventies... "Work your fingers to the bone what do you get? Boney Fingers..." I'm pin pricked, callused and sore right down to the bone - I'm sure my sewing machines could use a break. But, very excited about today!
